Howie was a forester with the U.S. Forest Service when I was District Ranger at Laona in the late '60s-early '70s. His Family lived on Trump Lake. If I remember Howie's Mother was a Township Supervisor that I worked with occassionally.

  4. sledding every Friday

    We are fortunate to have every Friday off and have been sledding every week even the cold days. This past Friday the fresh snow made for some tougher steering, couldn't rip it in the straight stretches either. Can't wait for the work week to end so we can go again. Good sledding everyone!
