When are the trails going to be groomed? I think they need to put "NO" under trails groomed!

I have not seen the trails myself yet, I have heard that the county has had many problems with the groomers breaking down and getting stuck. They do have all of the groomers going now the trails should improve.

I have also heard that when the trails did get groomed after two hours the trails were all tore up. If everyone rides on the trails like it is a sno-cross track you will have lots of bumps. With the temps going up this weekend that will help the base next week when it gets cold

Have fun and please ride safe and stay on the marked trails

The trails do get tore up.....I'll agree to that, but there has not been a groomer out since the "blizzard", there are areas that still have 2 and 3 foot drifts. Also what makes it bad is that riders are going out of the trail markers to avoid the drifts. Hopefully we will see a groomer before the weekend up here in da north. If they need more groomer drivers, contact me.

Stop at the County meeting tonight at 8 pm. Location is the VFW in New Berlin at 179th and Beloit. You can learn all about the grooming and sign-up to be a operator. Hope to see you tonight

    Snowmobile Xing

Rode yesterday from Ashipun down to Palmyra. Trails got better as we went south. Now hopefully we won't lose the trails in this coming week.

    Default I would assume

that Waukesha North trails will open again tonight (Monday, Feb 21st), as I'm in the northern part of Waukesha country and we got 6-7 inches of snow last night, with more coming this afternoon/this evening?

I called the number and it had not been updated since last Wednesday, so I thought I'd get some input here.

Many some guys have decided to call it a season, but with only 25 or so riding days we've been allowed this year since the trail hasn't been open much (no snow obviously), many of us are itching to get back out there before we lose the snow for good!

Fast_Jim, I have a message into the Trail master and will post as soon as I hear something. You are right the hotline has not been updated since Wednesday, not sure why because I was told that I was going to be updated on Sunday with information about parking at businesses. Will post an update when I find out. They may be checking the trails out to see if there is a water problem with the melt down we had
