    Smile First Ride of the season - 01/21/12

    Rode from Ashippun to Johnson Creek today Conditions were varied from field to field. We found it all today, lots of snow, smooth trails, very little snow, bumpy trails, snirt, drifts, you name it. It was good to be out! To bad ma nature sounds like she is going to put the brakes on our winter fun again this coming week. Was hoping to ride to the races in Jefferson next Saturday, but that sounds like more of a wish with each passing weather forecast. Cudos to Waukesha County groomers for going out and panning last week, that was some smart thinking on thier part. Well time to put another white crayon in the freezer and keep up the snow dance ritual. All in all.....it was a great ride today.
