Trail Reports
Snowstorm Bailey
Dec. 17, 2016 10:05 am
Townsend - Red Arrow Snowmobile Trails - It's snowing folks, keep those feet pounding the ground tonight and tomorrow. You know, that Snow Dance you've been doing. It sure seems to be working! I'm writing this report tonight to let you know what the plan is for opening the trails. I will be out at 6AM tomorrow morning grooming, and putting in a very long day. If we get the amount of snow forecast, the trails will TENTATIVELY OPEN ON SUNDAY.

Lakewood - Paul Bunyan Snowmobile Trails - All three groomers will be out Saturday morning grooming the trails if we get the expected snow predicted. If everything goes well we plan on opening the trails Sunday morning.

Chute Pond Snowmobile Trails - Chute Pond trails remain closed today- Saturday, December 17, 2016. Please do not ride on closed trails- let our team of groomers finish their preparations and safety checks. Trails will open at 7:00 am tomorrow- Sunday, December 18th. Trails are in "very early season" condition, with some exposed rocks and some thin and wet low spots that have not frozen up yet. Most trails are panned- the main exception being the pipeline trail. Areas we recommend you avoid until they freeze up: pipeline trail, trail from Junction to pipeline, 18 Corridor from Neligan Rd to Crooked Lake, trail from Old 64 north to Bowman air strip, north of Hwy W near the old Pine Grove. These areas have substantial wet & muddy areas which could cause issues for you and your sled. Please use extra caution and courtesy as you enjoy our early season trails.

Bagley and Brazeau Joyriders - B & B Joyriders trails today, Dec 17th at 2:00pm.
They will not begin grooming the trails until Dec 20th.
There is one section of the trail that will remain closed due to corn in the 40 acre field. It is from intersection 407 to 415. This is on the southwest part of the trail system. Remember this is early season riding and the lakes are not safe to ride on.

Gillett Sno Riders - Closed.

Oconto Falls Sno Jokers - As of 1 pm today, Oconto Falls trails will be open with the exception of the trail from Hazelnut lane to the river. We strongly advise against any river travel until ice conditions are safer. Also, we have not groomed yet so be aware of dangers that may be hidden under the snow. We hope to groom this coming week but as of now, there are swamps not frozen enough to support the groomer. Please tread lightly and stay on the trail.

Lena - Currently closed,
